The ice cream stand has replaced the roasted nut stand in Geneva and today’s high was 65 degrees. There is no doubt in my mind that Spring has arrived and sweaty Summer runs are right around the corner.
I have a lot to look forward to in the workout world these days including rooftop yoga after work and morning training runs. As soon as the Geneva Half Marathon is over my focus will move to training for the Berlin Marathon! I’ll take two weeks to focus on strength, clean eating and yoga to make sure I kickoff the 16 weeks of marathon training in the best shape possible. I have my eyes on a few of these bright, sweat wicking pieces of workout gear as incentive to push through the humid mornings and make sure I get my OM on at least once a week.

Yes, I love the red winona tank! I have the purpleish one, but really have been thinking about pulling the trigger on this red one. The fabric is oh so comfy! I also love the new colors of the long sleeve flyte, but it’s not really getting cooler so that will be harder to justify. 😉 Other than that, I’ve been thinking about getting a few new pair of fun shorts to trade out some of my old Nike tempos. The problem is, there really is nothing wrong with those shorts, but I would love some new colors/fits for my summer runs. Last year I bought a pair of orange striped shorts from lulu that I’ve enjoyed.
Ah, my dream is to run an international marathon. Someday… The manfriend and I are planning our Europe honeymoon (one year after our wedding) for this summer, but I don’t see that as the time to run a marathon.
I just pulled the trigger and ordered the cloud pants. Hope they are flattering on normal sized thighs 🙂
