Leslie’s sweet mother made us all feel at home this morning with a warm delicious breakfast. She had fresh grapes, strawberries, and bananas waiting for us when we woke up along with coffee, juice, and milk. But then the fun really began. The big question of the morning was how many scoops of chocolate chips was the perfect amount for our breakfast of champions.
Two scoops of chocolate chips was the perfect amount for this decadent pre-race breakfast.
Behold the delicious breakfast ala Mom! She definitely delivered and has made me miss my mom even more! I’m so excited to see she and my dad next weekend.
I enjoyed my warm chocolate chip pancakes with some strawberries, bananas, and a small drizzle of sugar free maple syrup. Thanks Mama Patty! You were the best hostess 🙂
It feels so weird to still be comfortably lounging around Leslie’s house at 8:30 on a race morning. Normally Bo and I are up and out of the house by 6am for races! The marathon relay doesn’t begin until 11am which means my leg should start around noon. I can’t wait to hang out with all the other bloggers and readers. Leslie’s team is Run to Eat while Meghann and I are on Run Bloggers Run.
hahaha oh my GOD I can't wait to see pictures of your moose hunt! That is incredible…have fun!!
Have a wonderful vacation- good luck finding some mooses! 🙂
I can't judge you for having "Moose sighting" on your bucket list–that's awesome! 🙂
My bucket list:
-Visit all the continents.
-Run a marathon (coming up in two weeks!)
-Run an ultra (probably just a 30 miler).
-Learn the Thriller dance (seriously)
Thanks! So far the vacation has been amazing but exhausting. We did however see 2 MOOSE yesterday!
Marilyn,
I love your list! Congratulations on checking one off with your marathon in 2 weeks!
